Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced AWS Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and services built on AWS. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud development and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps to build and scale secure, high-performance systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable code for serverless and containerized applications.
  • Integrate AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.) to support application functionality.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with core AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and IAM.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java).
  • Experience building scalable RESTful APIs or event-driven applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment best practices.
  • Understanding of cloud security and AWS Identity & Access Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, EKS).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK stack).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
